Welcome

We are a keen group of vintage and historic motorcycle enthusiasts who meet regularly for club nights and runs, together we form a section of the national organisation called the Vintage Motor Cycle Club.

The Ipswich and Suffolk Section is part of the national organisation called the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. The VMCC is split up into 80 sections, one being the Ipswich and Suffolk Section. Members get together for club nights and runs tailored to suit all types of vintage and classic motorcycles. The Ipswich Section was formed in 1966 and has been organising local events ever since. It was renamed the Ipswich and Suffolk Section in 2013 but has covered the whole of suffolk since its formation. Like-minded people who have a vintage motorcycle, aged 25 years or older, are welcome to join our runs once they have joined the national club. It is not necessary to own a vintage bike to become a member, but most members do own them and are keen to get out on the regular runs, organised by the section.

Please see our events calendar for details of meetings and runs for this year.
